Tulipes

The most beautiful version of this René Lalique vase is this version, made of clear glass, partly satinized and black patinated. Then the effect of the spherical tulip calyxes is optimal. The bulges work like magnifying glasses that create an optical effect. The black patina provides contrast and makes the blown-out round shapes stand out even better. This example of this vase from 1927 is in exceptionally good condition with an excellently preserved patina. Signed in the mold; R.Lalique and added engraved; France.
